Our Services

Delivering exceptional palliative care at Chapman House, an eight-bed hospice that was purpose-built for the care we provide, our highly skilled team of care professionals provide compassionate, person-centered palliative care and grief and bereavement supports to all residents of Grey and Bruce Counties, and their families, at no cost.

The Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care currently provides approximately 40% of the funding required to run Chapman House. More than 60% of our expenses are covered by our gracious donors. All donations from our community matter, from big to small, corporate to individual, help us provide service to our community.

Testimonials

Kind Words

We couldn’t have had better care in Hospice. Every one of the staff made us feel comfortable, they were above and beyond. I had my room right in his Hospice room. They checked on us frequently and were just super special. As I said to Matt and other nurses, I couldn’t have gone through this without them.  Archie was glad we moved there as well. He was well attended and it seems very homey. He suffered no pain, they were right there adjusting his meds as needed, etc. I stayed with him 24/7.

We are so very fortunate to have a facility like Chapman House in Bruce-Grey Owen Sound. Thank you for being part of it!

– Mary Dickson

I can’t thank the staff enough for their care and compassion for my family in our time of need. It gave my father peace of mind to know that he was going to be looked after and took away some of the stress from the family. Your facility is beautiful and allowed my father the dignity that he deserved at the end of his life. We were all so grateful to be able to have somewhere the whole family could come and be with him whenever and however long we wanted to.

– Lee-Anne Holmes

Thank you so much for the care and quality of life that you gave my mother. I’m so grateful for the caring staff and volunteers that made her final days as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
